A Bizzy Buzzy Bee in a Digital Garden, by Conni Schaftenaar
I've created this to be ready to participate in the upcoming birthday celebration of the group The ARTIST BUZzz. I used my colored pencil drawing of a honey bee for reference and digitally hand-painted this bee in Procreate on an iPad. Once that was done, I dug out some fantasy flowers I had created in an app called Sketch Guru on my Kindle several years ago. Using Photoshop, I created the floral garden using those flowers, with the bee on the top layer. I used several filtering and painting techniques to get the texture of the background, then I selected a number of the layers with my digital flowers on them and applied the Plaster filter. Had fun, and doodling flowers on my Kindle is always a Zen experience!
