Sometimes things just happen. I had a customer discussing my Orange and Red Tulips watercolor painting with me to put on a pillow. She then asked if I could get her a rug in matching colors but NOT with the tulip image reproduced - pattern overload! She wanted something with the colors, but splashes and blobs of orange and green, etc. So, I placed my high-res scan of the tulip painting (elsewhere on my gallery - see Watercolor Paintings or Flower Images Collections) in a Photoshop file and proceeded to play with filters like Liquify and Twirl. Voilá, an abstract image with the same colors!
