Description
Watercolor of water and foam breaking on a beach, by Conni Schaftenaar.
An exercise in learning to paint moving water, with eddys of foam and the color variants in the water, the variations in the beach sand.
Primarily done in watercolor, using masking fluid to protect whites, some white gouache added later to help define the eddying currents because my masking didn't quite accomplish what I wanted.
