I did this drawing originally to combine with another colored pencil work I've done of a poinsettia, which will be the December 2021 logo for the group The ARTIST BUZZz. After scanning it at this phase of development, I completed it with flowers against an abstract background, which can be seen on my gallery.
As an organic gardener, I have always been concerned about maintaining bees and helpful insects. You can learn more about how you can help protect honey bees, on which the future of people depends, by checking in here. While their first suggestion is to become a beekeeper, that's not very possible for most of us. But, further suggestions about planting bee-friendly gardens and watching pesticide use are simple for all of us.
