Description
A friend presented a challenge: she had an old cupboard door with white fretwork in it and wondered if I could paint something to be in that door as a horizontal image. She wanted flowers, and loves yellow roses and daisies - beyond that, she didn't have any preferences of flowers, so I chose some of my own favorites of clematis, orange asian lilies, and several wildflowers that I adore, like Queen Anne's Lace, chicory, teasel, wild violets, AKA Johnny-Jump-ups, and chamomile. Framed in her glass-fronted door, it appears you are looking at a garden through a window.
