Dog portrait watercolor on paper, by Conni Schaftenaar.
Recently I learned that a little dog called "Pupper", belonging to a friend of a friend, had died after his "mom" had been treating him for over two years for a serious heart condition. She sent my friend a photo of her beloved little dog, and I couldn't resist painting that sweet little face. I am sending the original to my friend to give to her friend as a memorial of her sweet little Pupper.
