Autumn Skies over Red Barn, watercolor on paper by Conni Schaftenaar.
I took a photo of a barn in my rural neighborhood in West Michigan and have done a couple of paintings of it featuring dramatic autumn colors in the tree and the sky. It's a cool old wooden barn, so I had fun playing with a couple of variations of the scene!
